QS-9000 (Automotive) Awareness and Implementation Training


This course uses a mix of lectures, case studies and practical exercises to achieve its learning objectives. The teaching input focuses on the differences between ISO 9000 and QS-9000, including treatment of the sector and customer-specific requirements. It includes implementation strategies for small or large suppliers, whether or not they are already registered against ISO 9001.

PERFORMANCE

At the end of this course, delegates will:

. have a firm understanding of the background to QS-9000 and its requirements, enabling them to guide its implementation in their companies
. understand an implementation strategy for QS-9000 which recognises and build on its integration with management systems such as ISO 9000
. appreciate how QS-9000 extends and modifies ISO 9000 to suit the needs of the automotive supply industry
. have gained the competence necessary to facilitate the effective introduction of QS-9000 in their business.
