FRI - Final Random Inspection

Check and ship

Final Random Inspection (FRI) is the detailed visual inspection of goods before shipment. It is generally conducted on the premises of the manufacturer, on samples selected according to defined sampling procedures. The inspection criteria covering quality, quantity, marking and packing are based on the client´s specifications and reference samples, as provided. Upon completion of FRI a detailled inspection report is sent to the client and the Inspection Certificate issued to the supplier if all findings are positive.

EVENT

As trade globalisation gains pace, sourcing from far way countries and new suppliers increase. Under these conditions, monitoring the production process requires on-the-spot presence to reduce the risk of substandard quality, discrepancies, shipment delays and other contraventions against purchase order requirements.

PERFORMANCE

- Tailor-made to your requirements
- Reduction of import risks
- Improved management and control of overseas sourcing
- No need for the client to be on-the-spot
- Issuance of Brucke & Virtus Inspection Certificate. To benefit fully from FRI, it is recommended to stipulate the Brucke & Virtus Inspection Certificate in the Letter of Credit and Purchase Order as follows: "Inspection certificate of Brucke & Virtus or their recognized correspondents certifying that the goods inspected conform to the contractual specifications and/or reference sample."
