Safe Quality Food, from Farm to Fork

The SQF quality management system consists of the SQF 2000cm and SQF 1000cm Quality Codes. The SQF 2000cm (Safe, Quaity Food) Quality Code is a HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point)-based food safety and quality risk management system covering all food chain stakeholders. In covers the identification of food safety and quality risks, and the validation and monitoring of control measures. The SQF 1000cm Quality Code was developed in response to industry needs for a third-party audited supplier program for product entering an SQF 2000cm certified business.

EVENT

Food safety and quality issues have received a great deal of attention in recent years. Consumers are becoming better educated and informed about food issues, including GMO, dioxin, BSE (mad cow disease), e-Coli and Listeria. Regulators are becoming increasingly active in safeguarding the food we eat. Brucke & Virtus offers the following SQF-related courses:

3 day HACCP Training Course
2 day SQF 2000cm Network Facilitator Bridging Course, covering auditing and SQF Quality systems, or;
Both Courses above as 5 day Course: Network Facilitator Course
The objectives of both courses are to assist food professionals in meeting the requirements of national and international food hygiene legislation in a practical and cost-effective manner that adds value to their business.

These courses are targeted for: Production Managers, Plant Managers, QC/QA Managers, Food Safety Managers, Project Managers or others involved in developing and operating food quality & safety systems.

Recommended minimum qualifications:

Tertiary/university qualification or on-the-job Agri/food industry training, and;
Four years of experience in Agri/food industry, food services or understand food safety hazards, and;
Two years food safety related experience.
Read, write and comprehend English
Certificates of Attainment are awarded to those passing the course. Others will receive Certificates of Attendance.
